He served as the Chief of Vascular Surgery and Vascular Fellowship Program Director at Loma Linda VA Healthcare system until 2020.\nHe served as a volunteer vascular surgeon at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in 2007 caring for our troops from Afghanistan and Iraq theaters. He currently is the director of the Limb preservation and tissue regeneration program at Dignity health St Bernardine Medical Center. An active researcher, Dr. Bianchi has served as national and site principal investigator for more than 15 clinical studies and has authored more than 40 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, as well as 7 textbook chapters. In addition, Dr. Bianchi has been invited to present his work at conferences and symposia in the U.S., Latin America, and Europe. He is passionate for soccer. Holds a professional coaching license by US Soccer and he is a player in the US Medical Soccer National Team. After obtaining his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. DeRubertis earned his medical degree, residency, and fellowship training at Weill Cornell Medical College and Columbia University training programs. He earned the rank of Professor of Surgery at the UCLA School of Medicine where he spent nearly 15 years with the Division of Vascular Surgery before returning to New York to rejoin Cornell’s Department of Surgery. His clinical interests include open and endovascular management of lower extremity arterial occlusive disease, complex aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease and deep venous disease. Dr. DeRubertis a particular interest in clinical trial design and execution, especially pertaining to chronic limb-threatening ischemia and below-knee interventions. He has participated in more than 25 clinical research studies, including roles as National Principal Investigator in the LIFE-BTK, LIFE-BTK Post-Approval Study, Magical BTK and REALITY trials. He has published more than 70 articles in peer-reviewed journals including New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Vascular Surgery, Surgery, Annals of Vascular Surgery, Cancer Gene Therapy and others, as well as more than 25 book chapters and other publications. Dr. Lookstein currently lectures around the world on various subjects in the field of Vascular and Interventional Radiology including peripheral arterial imaging and intervention, endovascular interventions, aortic stent-grafts, and deep vein thrombosis. He is recognized as an innovator in the field of peripheral vascular disease and noninvasive vascular imaging. His clinical practice is focused on the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular disease. Dr. Lookstein currently serves as Executive Vice Chairman in The Department of Diagnostic, Molecular, and Interventional Radiology for the Mount Sinai Health System. He previously served as System Vice Chair for Interventional Services as well as Division Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.             "bio": "Dr. Garcia received his training in Cardiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa and as an interventional cardiologist at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School.  Further, he received his peripheral vascular training at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Tufts University, Boston, Massachusetts.  Dr. Garcia then served at the Beth Israel Hospital as a full time interventional cardiologist and Director of the Peripheral Cardiovascular Program and Peripheral Interventions at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as well as the Director of the Interventional Fellowship Program and returned to St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center as Chief of the Section of Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Medicine Programs where he served for 15 years.  He is a Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine.  He now has transitioned his practice to the Catholic Health Services, Long Island at St. Francis Hospital and Heart Center in Roslyn, Long Island serving as the Director of Vascular Services for the network. Dr. Garcia continues his research interests in a wide variety of studies including peripheral vascular interventional trials and has served as national or global principal investigator on several trials.  He is widely regarded as an expert in peripheral vascular disease and specifically in atherectomy for lower extremity revascularization.  His work has been presented in numerous manuscripts, abstracts, textbooks and textbook chapters."
